Theme of the Day Thursday

It's my birthday today and we in Southern California are having the most rain in a week that we've had in 5 years, so to celebrate, (and Aquarius being sign of the a water bearer!)I'm choosing RAIN as my theme, today! Aren't these paintings and prints wonderful?

  1. Thank you for including my 'Rain' lino-cut!

  2. Happy Birthday Laurie!
You have found some beautiful images for such a dreary, stormy California. I am a bit north of you in Paso Robles and it is SOGGY around here this week. I am thrilled you included my patient girl waiting in the rain for your theme. I think she fits in perfectly (if I do say so myself).
Enjoy your Birthday and celebrate another year of you~it can't rain all the time.

  3. You are both welcome and Sarah, thank you for the birthday wishes! We've been to Paso Robles and it is lovely there! Soggy here, too, but I enjoy the change!

  4. Thanks so much for including me and HAPPY BIRTHDAY. It's funny, my birthday is actually tomorrow and we are getting the same storm as you had rolling through Tucson today and tomorrow. How appropriate for us Aquarius. Hope you have a wonderful day. I love the last painting you chose, In the Mist of Blue. :)

  5. Love your theme for today! As a cancer sign I love rain! Happy Birthday Laurie!

  7. Living in Nor Cal, we're getting much of the same. :) I took a walk in all that rain... and left the umbrella at home! :) On purpose! It was fantastic-- woke me up in a way I haven't felt in a while! Hope your birthday was equally wonderful.

  8. Glad to see I'm not the only one who loves the rain! Thank you for leaving your footprints here! Kenna: Love your way of enjoying the weather! Thank you all for your birthday greetings, too!
