Jared May, from Riley, Kansas, is a "math teacher by day who loves creating art and happens to be pretty good at photography". I couldn't agree more!
His beautiful photographs keep me enthralled and being a nature enthusiast myself, make me want to go on a hike with my camera as soon as possible!
Reading about Jared in a Photographers of Etsy interview blog post, this quote stands out to me as a person who has found a way to get the most out of life and that is so evident in his work:
"I have put a lot of energy and thought into the idea of loving my life as it is, here and now. I genuinely believe that a miserable person can manage to be miserable anywhere, and a happy person can manage to be happy anywhere.
Once I came to that conclusion, it only made sense to choose to be happy as much as possible."
Jared's work can be found on Etsy in his shop JaredKS and on his blog, Jared in Kansas.
